This official large 1960 Christmas print measures approx 14 x 18 in folio and was produced exclusively for President Eisenhower by HALLMARK Card Co. Most people do not realize Eisenhower was an artist and this is a print of his original work entitled Church in Bavaria. HALLMARK produced this gift print in a very limited production of roughly 2225 exclusively for President Eisenhower as his official Presidential Christmas gift in 1960 to his close personal friends, VIPs and staff in the White House. T
This Christmas print is still in its original presentation folder with the embossed presidential seal and outer envelope
Scare, highly collectible and in excellent condition.
1960 was Dwight Eisenhower’s last Christmas in the White House, and the President gave reproductions of his painting, Church in Bavaria, accompanied by the usual protective folder and gift enclosure Christmas card. Church in Bavaria was Eisenhower’s sixth painting that he would share with his White House staff during his presidency.
