Interesting letter from Herbert Hoover dated March 1, 1961 to Representative the Honorable Fred Schwengel, U.S. Congress, Washington D.C. In the letter, Hoover sends his regrets that he would be unable to attend the 100th anniversary celebration of the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln. The letter is on Hoover's personal letterhead and was sent from the Key Largo Anglers Club in Homestead, Florida where Hoover often went to enjoy a fishing holiday.
