This is an original and authentic button from the 1860 campaign of a beardless Abraham Lincoln for President and Hannibal Hamlin for Vice President. This is a ferrotype style button. Around the rim it says " Abraham Lincoln 1960 on the front. On the reverse it has the Vice Presidential Candidate's photo and "Hannibal Hamlin 1860 " around the rim. The photo of Abraham Lincoln shows him without a beard. , Great piece of american history at a good affordable price, if not for the condition issues described below it would sell for considerably more.
