Abraham Lincoln Hannibal Hamlin 1860 Campaign Ferrotype brass raised Campaign Button. Made for the Presidential and Vice Presidential Campaign of 1860. Exquisite bare-faced Lincoln photo and Hannibal Hamlin. The front has a photo of the clean shaven Abraham Lincoln, and the words Abraham Lincoln 1860. On the reverse of the ferrotype is Vice Presidential candidate Hannibal Hamlin of Maine who was Lincoln's running mate. While Lincoln's photo is still crisp and clear upon closer examination it does have a black mark in his mouth area and a few stray lines in the background, neither of which are unusual for buttons from this era. Hamlin's photo has several thin scratches. and the wording on the outer frame says Hannibal Hamlin 1860. Comes with our 100% guarantee of authenticity. We find it amazing that Lincoln collectibles such as these can still be purchased for under $1,000, but we suspect this won't continue for long.
