Forty three page original position paper produced by Kennedy for President, Washington D.C. The document was an in depth view of Robert Kennedy's position on twenty four different issues. The issue that received the first page position was Kennedy's position on the Vietnam war. "Senator Robert Kennedy has been pressing for peace talks in Vietnam for over three years, and has spoken out with great pertinence at each of the decisive points in the history of that tragic and destructive war." Historical Notes
On January 28, 1967, Robert Kennedy began a ten-day stay in Europe, meeting Harold Wilson in London and advising him to tell President Johnson about his belief that the ongoing Vietnam conflict was wrong.
