original two sided campaign card flyer from the doomed presidential election campaign of Robert Kennedy for President of the United States. The front side is a portrait of the soon to be assassinated presidential candidate. The reverse includes quotes and information on RFK including the quote "I run for the Presidency because I want the United States to stand for hope, for the reconciliation of men, for new policies".
Historical Notes
In 1965 Robert Kennedy became the first person to climb to the summit of Mount Kennedy. At the time it was the highest mountain in Canada that had not yet been climbed. It was named in honor of his brother John F. Kennedy after his assassination.
