Very interesting and rare original Delegate badge credential from the 1844 Democratic National Convention that was held in Baltimore, Maryland, that nominated James Polk for President. It is a paper badge from the Massachusetts Delegation that is a printers proof. Few items exist from this early convention. It features a graphic of a native American with a bow and arrow in the center. This is one of the last of a group of these scarce delegation items that we have in our collection. Original.
