1892 Rare and Ornate Republican National Convention Maryland Delegate Badge. This badge measures 2" x 9.5" and was issued to a Maryland delegate at the Republican National Convention held in Minneapolis 1892. Very attractive and unusual and has an embroidered shield at the center of a Maryland Coat of Arms/shield with an eagle and shield beneath. Black and gold ribbon bow header, teal blue ribbon imprinted with the state seal. A great addition to any Benjamin Harrison, Republican Convention or Maryland political history collection. We can't say that we ever recall seeing another of these in the past 48+ years. With manufacturers inscription label on the reverse from the Sisco Bros. Manufacturers, Baltimore, Maryland. Orginal, of course.

From the Gary Burhop Collection.
