Group of 7 Different Vintage Campaign Political Printing Mats & Block from California. These mats and printing blocks were used to print political advertisements and flyers and in newspapers and other print media. Images include Alai Stevenson, John Sparkman, James Farley and others.  It is difficult to see the images of each candidate and politician since the printing process since the images would not be clear until the were flooded with ink and then tranferred to paper. The large and heavy metal and wood printers block apparently supports S1940s anta Cruz politician Roy Sayre against the "obstructionist" candidate H.R. Judah. Intersesting group of items, specially if you are a Adlai Stevenson or California collector,  that you don't see very often. Original.
