Original vintage Richard Nixon California Senate Race anti Nixon protest campaign flyer from the 1950.s. It was distributed by the National Bundles for Nixon Committee. The anti-Nixon campaign protested Richard Nixon trying to elevate himself from "tramp" status in California to Senator status in Washington. Features a cartoon style graphic of a hobo following a railroad track on the way to Washington. The inside asks voters to choose how to earmark their contribution, "a full-time maid (preferably French) a classy new car, imported, etc. Scarce example of this Anti- Nixon cartoon on an unused envelope. Great early Nixon historical item and an early example of the type of negative campaign items that followed Nixon throughout his political career
