Very nice vintage postcard featuring a very colorful portrait of President George Washington with his cherry tree, sword and hatchet entitled "Washington his bravery". Arguably one of the most attractive George Washington postcards, produced for Washington's Birthday. This is the version with silver trim (as opposed to gold) and the text and hatchet in silver. Original.

In 1909 Winsch E. Nash produced a series of postcards entitled "Washington Birthday Series No. 2", as noted on the reverse.
