Original credetentials badge from the 1972 Democratic National Convention held in Miami Beach. This is a reserved seat numbered "delegate" ticket. The convention nominated George McGovern and Thomas Eagleton for President and Vice President, to run against incumbents Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew.
Details
Senator Thomas Eagleton of Missouri for Vice President. Eagleton later withdrew from the race when it was disclosed that he had undergone mental health treatment.
