Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. on the eve of the inauguration and part of the inaugural fesitivies.

Nancy Reagan devoted most of her time to caring for her ailing husband who was, diagnosed in 1994 with Alzheimer's disease, until his death in 2004.
