Commemorative inaugural cover from the 1945 fourth term inauguration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt as President. This cover is in very fine condition and unaddressed and postmarked Washington D.C. on the day of the inauguration January 20, 1945. The cachet is probably a Minkus brand cachet with typed information including "First Time in History", "Fourth Inauguration of the 32nd President of the U.S.A. Franklin D. Roosevelt" and "January 20, 1945. The graphic shows a united front against Nazi Germany and a torch in the center, with the inscription :Liberation from Nazi Terror Will Come Through Victory".
