2009 Barack Obama Official Inaugural Souvenir Invitation Set

This is an original and official souvenir invitation to the Inauguration of Barack Obama January 20, 2009. The set includes the embossed invitation, an introductory letter from The Presidential Inaugural Committee, the original envelope from the Presidential Inaugural Committee and a brochure of inaugural items (not pictured). For those of you who have wondered why we have not listed an Obama inaugural invitation until now, the answer is simple. We felt that the prices that were being asked by dealers and auction houses for these items were ridiculous and unfair to collectors. We saw invitations being offered for sale for $200 - $500. For that reason we decided to wait until the price of these items came down to a reasonable level after the euphoria associated with the inauguration. We now feel that point has been reached.
