1997 George Bush Presidential Library Medal Uniface Version

Bronze medal featuring the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station Texas. Uniface medal (reverse is blank) so some people refer to it as a paperweight. 3" in diameter. The design features the George Bush Library Building and Seal with a relief image of the President. It is marked 1997 Hoffman Mint Carmel Ca Bronze along the edge. We have seen some of these medals mounted on a wood plaque, but this is one of the first we have seen without the plaque. We assume the medas were issued to commemorate the opening of the museum.
