This is an original ticket to a Lecture by Democrat William Jennings Bryan who ran for President three times
(1896, 1900 and 1908). "Lecture By William Jennings Bryan, at City Hall, Lewiston, Thursday Evening, December 6th. Admission 50 cents. We believe this ticket is from 1898 when Bryan made his second attempt at becoming President.
Details
During his time campaigning, Bryan made over 500 speeches and is credited with inventing the national stumping tour.
