Official set of five White House cards produced for vice President Nelson Rockefeller congratulating America families on the occasion of various events. The events included birth of a daughter, anniversary, bar mitzvah, eagle scout and also wishing families a speedy recovery from an illness. The cards were produced by the White House for mailing to people who had written to the administration as response cards. The card includes the gold embossed presidential seal at the top along with the printed signature of President Ford at the bottom.
This is part of a large group of these cards we recently acquired from an individual whose relative worked for the government in Washington, D.C. at the time. All the cards have the gold embossed presidential seal at the top and are in mint condition. The cards measure 6" x 3 1/2

Acknowledgement and Thank You Cards have been regularly produced by White House administrations for decades. It is widely acknowledged that the Nixon Administration took this to an extreme level by producing a multitude of different cards for various occasions, including anniversaries and births
