1973-1979 Illinois Senator Harber H. Hall Parker Pen. Giveaway type pen with inscription reading Senator Harber H. Hall and with the Seal of Illinois above it. Original.
The first documented pen collector was a man named Oscar Wilde (not to be confused with the famous writer of the same name), who began collecting fountain pens in the 1920s. Other collectors soon followed, and by the 1930s, pen collecting had become a popular hobby.
