This is an original ticket to the 1884 Democratic National Convention held in Chicago Illinois July, 1884. The convention nominated Grover Cleveland for President. The ticket was issued to a person by the name of William Buchanan of Mississippi who was an Alternate Delegate at the convention. Buchanan was a Republican. Candidate for U.S. Representative from Massachusetts 14th District, in 1910. We have no idea if he was related to President James Buchanan. Original. One of only two of these tickets we have ever seen.
