Harry Truman Congressional Inaugural Invitation Set - Sealed

Original Congressional invitation and ceremonies program set for Harry Truman's 1949 inauguration. This set includes the ceremonies program, invitation, portrait of the President and Vice President, ticket envelope and MATCHING TICKET and the original envelope. This is the invitation set sent by members of Congress to VIP's. We received this as part of the estate of a former U.S. Senator. It is in the original matching envelope which is still SEALED and has never been opened (the photo is of a similar item - we did not want to unseal the envelope for the photograph).
