A scarce and sought after raised invitation to the event that John F. Kennedy was scheduled to appear at in Dallas Texas on November 22, 1963 the day of the President's assassination. It is numbered on reverse. In 1967, someone, on the day of the issuance of a U.S. Postage stamp affixed the postage stamp to the upper right of the invitation and had it postmarked at a postal substation in Dallas Texas, where the assassination occurred. Truly a remarkable bit of history.

The President and the First Lady were on their way to this Trade Mart luncheon when they were assassinated on November 22, 1963.
