The pin was Ethel Kennedy's idea. It promotes Ted Kennedy for MA US Senator; Kathleen Kennedy Townsend for MD Lt. Governor; Patrick Kennedy for RI US Congress; Joe Kennedy for MA US Congress; and Mark Kennedy Shriver (Maria's brother) for Maryland House of Delegates. All of the family members won their races that year. Original.
