Very attractive original bandanna featuring a graphic of President Theodore Roosevelt, along with a great seal of the United States. Fine engraved look, and fine decorative stitching along the edges. Between the portrait of Teddy Roosevelt and the Great Seal is a descriptive artistic plaque that says "Louisiana Purchase Exposition St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. April 30, to December 1, 1904.
Fine piece of American history, nicely framed with complimentary black matting and frame, although there are scratches on the frame.
Details
President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt opened the fair via telegraph but did not attend personally until after the election in November 1904.
