This is an original ticket to the 1920 Democratic National Convention held June 28 1920 in San Francisco. This booklet includes ten of the original twelve tickets in the original booklet. Five of the tickets have the stubs still attached (sessions that the attendee apparently did not attend) and five tickets were the stubs are missing (where they apparently did attend the session and the stubs were therefore removed upon entrance. Very difficult to find these days still attached to the original booklet, although you may choose to separate the tickets from the booklet in which case you would have a total of ten different tickets!
These are main floor guest tickets. The convention nominated James Cox for president and Franklin Roosevelt for vice president against Warren Harding the Republican candidate.

San Francisco was the host of the 1920 convention held June 28 - July 6. The November 1920 election was notable as the first election allowing women to vote for president.
