Interesting handwritten letter from then Governor Ronald Reagan regarding the tragic death of a fine young man and offering his sympathy to his mother. The letter is written to a Mr. Raies of Portland Oregon and refers to a previous meeting at an auditorium where he apparently met the young man. The letter is part of a collection of items from Ronald Reagan's personal assistant. The letter, signed simply RR, was written by Ronald Reagan in his own handwriting and signature and then presented to his assistant who then typed and mailed the letter on the Governor's behalf. Great gift item.
