Val Peterson served as the 26th Governor of Nebraska from 1947 to 1953. Great black and white photo. Signed at the bottom by Val Peterson. The signature is hard to read in the photo since it is signed in blue ink on a dark background. We believe the signature to be authentic but we are not experts in signatures of Governors so we are pricing this nice piece of Nebraska history at an attractive price. Original .

Peterson was also director of the Federal Civil Defense Administration and as U.S. ambassador to Denmark and Finland.
