Large and heavy copper header with U.S. Capitol in the center with two American eagles on either side. Links suspend large medallion with inscription 'Assistant Sergeant At Arms" ' and a cello reading National Republican Convention 1908 Chicago. Original, of course.
The convention nominated James Sherman as Roosevelt's running mate.
