1924 Official Congressional Memorial Services Engraved Invitation - Woodrow Wilson. The Memorial Services were held on December 15th, 1924 in the Hall of the House of Representatives. The engraved invitation was a joint services of both the Senate and House of Representatives. We have seen several different memorial items over the years but this is the first time we have come across the this congressional artifact. Original.
Former U.S. President Woodrow Wilson died on February 3, 1924, at his home in Washington, D.C. He passed away quietly after suffering from a severe stroke and long-term health decline that began during his final year in office following a massive stroke in 1919.
