OMs. Schmiedchen was the Personal Secretary to President Gerald Ford, when he lived in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs) California. On the reverse is a personal letter from Frederick J. Ryan, Jr, Chief of Staff to Ronald Reagan to Mrs Schmiechen explaining that the Reagan's "were delighted to sign it for you." The letter is date May 5, 1994 and was written on Reagan's letterhead from the "Office of Ronald Reagan" with gold embossed seal at the top. Professionally framed and matted with conservation glass.
