1936 Scarce Republican National Convention in Cleveland Vermont Ribbon Badge. The convention nomined Alf Landon for President. Original The header shows a stylized version of the Vermont state logo with VERMONT boldly included in the very attractive header with a stylized Vermont state logo above and the state slogan "The Green Mountain State" beneath The header suspends a dark green ribbon with imprinting in gold which reds "Vermont at Cleveland National Republican Convention 1936. Original and very hard to find.
The 1936 Republican National Convention was held June 9–12 in Cleveland, Ohio. It nominated Governor Alfred Landon of Kansas for president.
