Classic Ted Kennedy waterproof watch. 1.25" chromed metal watch. 1971.Graphic of Kennedy wearing swimming flippers "Waterproof." reference to Chappaquiddic drowning. And the watch is working! Great condition, with box (but doubt it's the original box since we've never seen one that had a box.) Original.
Chappaquiddick incident was a single-vehicle car accident on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts on July 18, 1969 that was resulted in the the death of his 28-year-old companion, Mary Jo Kopechne, who was trapped inside the vehicle. Ted Kennedy was the driver of the car.
