Includes speeches by eight generals, congressmen and other influential people of the day. Original. The property of a Pennsylvania congressman.
The Union League was a somewhat secretive, men’s clubs established during the Civil War to promote loyalty to the Union. Their often elaborate, engraved and ornate programs, menus and books are prized by collectors worldwide.
