1916 Republican National Convention Delegate Badge - Condition issue. This  badge features a Cummins for President ribbon as Senator Albert Cummins from Iowa was a candidate for the nomination that year). Rectangular header with printed title that reads DELEGATE that suspends a spread eagle with Capitol dome behind. Cummins for President in Gold on ribbon with circular IOWA cellto and red, white and glue ribbon behind. Another not often seen delegate badge.

However, apparently the weight of the bottom medallion has now separated the Cummins ribbon in half. So we have reduced the price on this scarce ribbon by 50%. Certainly it can be repaired, in fact once separated we noticed that it had apparently been repaired at one time in the past.

We are including photos of the badge in one piece, as well as how it looks in its current state.

Historical Notes

The 1916 Republican National Convention was held in Chicago from June 7-10, 1916.
