1936 Scarce Republican National Committee Ladder Badge. National Committee credentials badge from the 1936 Republican National Convention held in Cleveland, Ohio and issued to Miss Ruth Giles, Ass't To Director Young Republicans. At the top is an attachment with an American eagle design with flanking patriotic shields and enamel bar reading "National Committee. Hanging from the top are the two ladder identifying bars and a white backing ribbon, with another enameled bar reading Cleveland - 1936. Beneath that bar is a brass colored  medallion that reads Republican National convention and "One Flag, One People United Under the Constitution" Image of the U.S. Capitol  and busts of Washington and Lincoln With long blue backing ribbon. Original and very attractive.

Includes a black case  with cushioned lining, which may or may not be the original case.
