Honorary Sergeant At Arms Badge from the 1944 Republican National Convention held in Chicago. The convention nominated Thomas Dewey for President. Badge with original ribbon and bar at the top identifying the holder as "Honorary Sergeant At Arms". Large Eagle graphic with patriotic shield, ribbon and disc with portrait of Abraham Lincoln in the center. Unlike other convention badges, the 1944 badges were made of hard pressboard material rather than metal, due to the need for metal to be directed towards the war effort. Original.
