Original ticket to the acceptance speech by John F. Kennedy during the 1960 Democratic National Convention held at the Coliseum Convention Center. Classic red, white and blue ticket with graphic of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the center. This is the $5.00 donation ticket. On the third day of the convention JFK clinched the nomination with 806 votes vs. Lyndon Johnson's 409.
The major candidates for the 1960 Democratic presidential nomination were John F. Kennedy, Governor Pat Brown (California), Senator Stuart Symington (Missouri), Senator Lyndon B. Johnson (Texas), former Governor Adlai Stevenson (Illinois), Senator Wayne Morse (Oregon), and Senator Hubert Humphrey (Minnesota).
