1961 Kennedy Johnson Bronze Inaugural Medal by Kraczkowski & Robbins. Designed by Philip Kraczkowski and Medalist Robbins & Co., Edgemark reads ROBBINS BRONZE and numbered #1245.

As the story goes, Lyndon Johnson was displeased when he saw that the official inaugural medal which only showed the image of John F Kennedy, so he pressured the Inaugural Committee to hire Kraczkowski to produced this second medal with the portraits of both Kennedy and Johnson. While not considerd the official inaugural medal it is listed in most reference materials as an inaugural item since it was ordered and authorized by the Inaugural Committee. Unlike the familiar official medal, only 3,850 of these bronze medals were produced vs 53,331. Original.
