1968 Republican National Convention House Radio - TV Gallery. Three tier ladder badge with the first giving the name of the individual Max M Barber, the second acknowledges him or her as "Ass't Superintendent" and the third as "House Radio - TV Gallery". Double red, white and blue ribbon with Miami Beach National Republican Convention 1968 medallion with GOP elephant in the center. At the top is a spread winged eage with shield at the words "NATIONAL CONVENTION". The convention nominated Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew for the Republican nomination.Original.
Ladder: The term ladder badge is used to acknowledge the special positons that an indvidiual held at the convention. Each horizontal bar equals another way of identifying the position within convention staff and members and together form a ladder.
