1968 LBJ White House Dinner In Honor of Somali Prime Minister.  The evening's entertainment was provided by Anita Bryant nine years before she became an outspoken opponent of gay rights and was reportedly blacklisted and later divorced and forced to file for bankruptcy twice. 8 pages, with the embossed gold seal of the president on the cover. What turns out to be an interesting gay rights piece of memorabilia. Original

At first we thought we were "just" listing a Lyndon Johnson democratic White House dinner program for a foreign dignitary. Then we noticed who was the entertainer at the event. interesting home things change. In 1968 when Anita Bryant was invited to the White House to entertain the Prime Minister of Somalia she was a well known singer and actress. nine years later when she became an outspoken critic of gay rights.
