Original round coattails bumper sticker decal from the campaign of Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale and Howard Metzenbaum. Although running on the same ticket, Howard Metzenbaum, an outspoken Senator from Ohio became a political thorn in the side of Carter after the election. While this sticker looks rectangular - the actual sticker is indeed round once it is lifted off the paper, its just difficult to see in the photo. Measures 3" in diameter. Original.
Metsenbaum served for nearly 20 years as a member of the U.S. Senate from Ohio and also in the Ohio House of Representatiaves and Senate from 1943 to 1951.
