Original ticket to President Jimmy Carter's Report on Camp David Summit Meeting to Congress, September 18, 1978. With embossed Great Seal of the United States. Those in attendance included Members of Congress, Members of the President's Cabinet, Supreme Court Justices and other VIP's at Reagan's actual address to Congress. The Camp David Accords were signed by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin the day before President Carter's speech to Congress. Tickets to the event were distributed to select VIP's in a very limited quantity. This ticket is marked "sample" on the reverse and was part of the personal collection of a Washington insider.
