2011 Barack Obama Official Dinner Menus Hawaii Leaders Meeting & Cancelled Summit Meeting . Set of two official menus from U.S. President Barack Obama's trip to Hawaii. The November 13, 2011 menu was from the North American Leaders Summit that was cancelled  by President Obama after the death of Mexican Interior Minister Francisco Blake Mora and several Mexican government officials in a helicopter crash. . The second menu is from the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)  Leaders Meeting dinner that was held at the Hale Koa Hotel that was under tight security  with concrete barriers and steel fences that protected the APEC dignitaries. Both menus include the gold embossed presidential seal at the top and the gold edging. Original. 

Historical Notes

At the time Mexico was locked in a brutal conflict against drug cartels that has killed 45,000 people in the last five years and the helicopter crash just days before the Summit and Leaders Meeting heightened security concerns.
