A collection of twenty two (22) different items from the collection of a former Crew Chief of Air Force One during the Nixon and Ford administrations. Primarily news clippings from Air Force One flights of which he was a part of, along with several articles about the history and restoration of Air Force One, a crew itinerary sheet, a few flights souvenir epherma etc. No one item has signficant value but its an interesting glimpse into the life of an Air Force One crew member and the items he thought important enough to save.
SAM 27000 was decommissioned and flown to Carlinfornia in September 2001, where it was presented to the Reagan Foundation for Display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
