Rare, very attractive and well presented display featuring an original Rare Signed Andrew Johnson Carte De Visite (CDV) with a profile photograph of President Andrew Johnson. T The display also includes an original ticket to the Impeachment proceedings held in the U.S. Senate dated May 7th, 1868. The ticket includes the orignial numbered stub (although separated). There are also two bronze plaques commemorating Andrew Johnson, the 17th President of the United States term in office, and another plaque describing the Impeachment Proceedings. One of the most difficult signed CDV's too find. A true conversation piece. Original.
Professionally framed, matted in silk. and UV protected glass, and comes with our 100% guarantee of authenticity. Both the CDV and ticket were housed in a protective edged plastic for mounting.
Andrew Johnson was impeachment by the House of Representatives in 1868, but he was not removed from office as the Senate voted to acquit him.
