Kennedy Jr., edited by his brother, John F. Kennedy. Published by University Press, this scarce edition is presented in mint condition and includes its original protective slipcase. Rich with personal reflections from family and contemporaries, it captures the legacy of the eldest Kennedy son whose life and promise were cut short during World War II. Original and in excellent condition, and includes the slipcase case in equally mint condition. This is the first edition with the wings on the title page printed in red.
As We Remember Joe was compiled following the 1944 wartime death of Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., the eldest son of the Kennedy family and a rising political figure. Edited by his brother, future President John F. Kennedy, the volume gathers tributes that reflect Joe Jr.’s leadership, intellect, and sense of duty. His death during a secret Navy mission profoundly shaped the Kennedy family narrative and influenced JFK’s own path to public service.
