1964 Barry Goldwater for President Glasses. Interesting campaign collectible promoting republican Barry Goldwater for President in the 1964 presidential campaign vs. democrat Lyndon B. Johnson. During the campaign Goldwater's eyeglasses became somewhat of a symbol of his campaign. Thin cardboard and made so you can fold the ends to create glasses. Of course the centers are hollow and have no glass.
Now for the important part. Lori insisted that if I was the model for the pictures no one would ever buy one of these glasses. So please help me prove her wrong! :)
On the glasses the text says "Goldwater for President" on either end. "Barry's view... Mine too" at the top center and Vote G.O.P. at the bottom. Great novelty campaign item.
