In yet another blow to the Nixon and Ford administrations, Butz had been accused of uttering stupid racist remarks against blacks and in appropriate comments about the Pope. Butz subsequently resigned. Original button.

Historical Notes

In one gaffe, Butz was reportedly overhead to a question regardng why there were so few blacks in the administration. Butz responded "I'll tell you what the coloreds want. It's three things: first, a tight pussy; second, loose shoes; and third, a warm place to shit." That was the end of Butz.
