William "Bill" Proxmire was an American politician and member of the Democratic Party, he served as a United States Senator from Wisconsin from 1957 to 1989. This is a letter from Bill Proxmire on United States Senate letterhead, dated November 12, 1970 in which he thanks a Maurice Pasch of Madison, Wisconsin for his support in Proximre's re-election campaign win. We are not experts in Senate signatures, so we are pricing this item merely as a piece of Wisconsin history rather than an original autograph. It may very well be original. We just don't honestly know and the cost of authenticating a signature in this price range just would not make financial sense.
Historical Notes
"My margin of victory in Tuesday's election gives me an even greater sense of dedication and purpose in order to merit the trust and esteem of citizens like you...."
