Original letter from W.T. Rapp Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy on the official Commander Third Fleet letterhead, The letter is dated December 19, 1973 during the Vietnam War. The letter is addressed to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (FM) who later became the U.S. Ambassador to Australia. The letter mentions a flight on an F-14.
